This is
the
professional and best 16mm film splicer made.
It is the
latest and best
model so it has adjustments to handle fresh as well as older shrunken film.
No other Catozzo model can adjust for older shrunken film, only this model.
Over time, film shrinks and when you make a splice there may likely be a gap between the two pieces of film. This splicer makes up for that but having an adjustment that brings the two ends together. You certainly don't want your film getting caught in your projector when viewing or transferring to video.
