    Description

    Walker Multi-Unit. Manufactured by George W. Walker. 1 display tube included. Case is falling apart. Screws are missing.
    Can act as a short wave receiver, short wave adaptor, BC receiver, Screen grid pre-amp, RF booster, RF oscillator, crystal receiver, wave meter, or wave trap. Similar to original Geo W Walker Multi-Unit but has an extra variable capacitor, 5-pin coil socket and has a bronze colored mottled aluminum metal casing. Tube and coil are exposed on the top face of the casing. Also on upper face there is one vernier tuning dial, two small dials labeled VOL and ANT, 8 numbered terminals and a removable grid leak. On one of the side faces there is dial labeled Rheostat and a ground terminal.
    Almost any UV or UX base standard tube may be employed, and even 5-prong (eg screen grid types) by use of an appropriate adapter.
    This unit is being sold untested, as-is, as-photographed.
