Vintage 16 mm Film Splicer Catozzo - Projectionist Equipment REVISED

Vintage 16 mm professional movie splicer, brand is Dr. Leo Catozzo.  Reads: M.2 16 m/m - 2T. Made in Italy, patented.  Officine Machine.  There is still a Supertran tape roll with a small amount of tape.  This was owned by an close family member who was a movie theater projectionist.
Condition:
Used, as is, vintage.  I'm not sure if this item is original or modified.  If it works, works well or does not work.  I am not someone who would know what to look for when assessing this item, as it belonged to a family member who was a movie theater projectionist.
