Schneider Kreuznach Componon 300mm f5.6 enlarging lens

Description

Excellent enlarging lens from Schneider-Kreuznach, I prefer the old chrome barrel Componons for black&white.  This particular lens has severe schneideritis, flakes sometimes detach and can get into the optical path.  If you hold the lens horizontally and gently tap it, they will move to the side.  There is some wear to the front coating from aggressive coating or chemical fumes, but nothing that will affect performance.  Aperture has 16 blades and opens and closes freely, with click stops.  There is a name and number engraved in the front barrel.  This lens will be a fine performer, and will produce super sharp and contrasty images.
