Reproduction Atwater KENT Lampshade

Atwater Kent reproduction lampshade.  Original lamp and shade appeared in the 1927-28 Dealer Helps for .00. Original shades became dirty or of no use and were discarded.  If you are lucky enough to find one you are likely to pay more than 00. This shade was made from am original one that was very dirty.  A commercial printer with a large press made the color separations and printed on 90lb bond paper.   The gimp was a brass weave that was discolored green so I substituted the look alike green gimp.  The frames were duplicated to match the original with brass plating on the top piece.  It is then hand assembled and takes approximately two hours.  The one you will receive is not the one pictured but an exact duplicate. The "original pictured" is not part of this auction.
