Nice Original 1924 RCA Radiola UZ-1325 Radio Horn Loudspeaker, A True Classic!

In my ongoing quest to thin out my collection, I am or will soon be posting on Ebay a number of 1920’s battery sets, early crystal sets, and radio accessories that I picked up over the decades in here in northern New England, and never got around to restoring or even testing. This one is a 1924 RCA Radiola model UZ-1325 horn loudspeaker, one of the most iconic speakers (and shapes!) in radio history. The horn itself is made of hard rubber, while the base is metal; as you can see from the pictures, both are in very nice shape. The gnarled metal collar, which is typically frozen on these, turns freely, and the horn and base can be separated and re-attached without trouble; the control slide in the base moves back and forth freely, too. The speaker measures 25.25” high, and the horn measures 12” in diameter at the bell. If you’ve been looking for one of these in nice, original and unmolested condition, this is your lucky day – you won’t find a cleaner one! I offer it here with NO RESERVE – high bidder takes it!
