Lovely Wooden Case for 1920s Utah 30 Speaker - When Will You Ever Find Another?

In my ongoing quest to thin out my collection, I am or will be posting on Ebay a number of 1920’s battery sets, early crystal sets, and radio accessories that I picked up over the decades in here in northern New England, and that I never got around to restoring or even testing. This is a wooden case for a 1925 Utah model 30 radio speaker, complete with original grille cloth. The speaker is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful ever produced in this country, but unfortunately, few have survived intact due to the delicacy of the intricate carving. In this instance, the delicate case managed to survive, but the speaker didn’t, thus presenting a rare opportunity to someone who has a Utah model 30 speaker with a broken or damaged case to actually restore their speaker! The case measures 16.5”w x 18”h, and is missing one small section of trim on the side, as seen in the pictures, which can easily be repaired or shaded to conceal it. If you’ve been looking for one of these but thought you’d never find one, this is your lucky day; you simply will not fond another.
