    Personally used this Film Splicer when I worked as a 35mm projectionist at movie theater. The same (2) rolls of tape are still attached.  Very well built, heavy film splicer - Made in Japan. Heavily used, but still works. The condition of the tape because of its age, I wouldn't advise actually splicing film together with it.
