    Description

    This 35 mm film splicer was used in one of the motion pictures postproduction labs in Hollywood.  The splicer was modified to splice make up reels to be process in their positive film processing section of the lab.  Note the small weights on each side to hold the film while splicing.  Unit may need some adjustments as it's been out of service.
