$ 4488

Availability: 26 in stock
  • Type: D
  • Model: Bullseye
  • Brand: Moviola
  • Condition: This item was acquired with a 35mm Eyemo movie camera as excess from an educational institution and is offered for restoration. Besides some oxidation and light rust to the steel in places, the exterior looks pretty good. However, certain mechanisms and mechanical parts appear to be locked; hence, no attempt has been made to apply force or electric power to the unit. The original lubrication has long since likely failed; hence, this unit is offered untested and for restoration.

    .
    Interestingly, this device was purchased with all its pulleys. Over the last thirty years, all of its leather pulleys have deteriorated and decayed; the single remaining cable of a later vintage is all that remains.

    .
    Besides some oxidation to some components and rust to the exterior iron components in places, the damage does not appear to be extensive and hence, this device can be restored using proper techniques
    - see photo
    .
    The original lubrication has deteriorated including lubrication for the electric motor; hence, no attempt has been made to apply power to the device. Hence, this device is offered
    untested
    . Specific mechanisms and rotating components appear to be locked;
    no attempt has been made to either apply force to unlock or loosen any mechanical components or to disassemble the device to inspect its interior - i.e., the photocell, motor speed control, motor, etc.
    Besides some scuffs to the exterior and some light rust to the steel components, this device retains much of its original black finish and is offered in relatively good cosmetic condition
    - see photos.
    Again, this rare historical device is offered untested and hence, for parts and restoration.
    This device is offered as described and as displayed in the photo.
