    Description

    1926 Browning Drake 5R [from the National Radio Co .. later well known for top quality amateur radio receivers] .. Very good condition .. clean .... This appears to be the factory [rather than kit built] version as it has the Browning Drake logo engraved on the panel and comes with the original lid instructions [rough shape but readable]. The cabinet is in VG condition ... original finish .... front panel is clean and the knobs are all original to the set .. chassis is in good shape ... includes the display tubes shown ... only flaw is that it's missing three of the resistors used in the resistance coupled amplifier section .. looks like common grid leak style glass tube resistors will work as replacements. Nice radio and the factory built sets are hard to find.
