    Description

One, RCA Radiotron UV-201, #01 tube, with the globe/balloon, tipped glass envelope. This is of course an early 01 tube, which had a brighter and higher current filament than the later UV-201A/01A tube.  This RCA Radiotron was made by Westinghouse for RCA and has the very early RCA logo which was an interlocking "RC". Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated. Firm, brass base, tipped bulb with no chips, and an even rarer peach glass. Tube tests at 575 where pass/fail is 470 micromho, which is remarkably strong for a UV-201/C-301 tube- which cannot be rejuvenated.
